Wildlife is all around us, whether we see it or not. When we do come into contact with animals, like possums and rabbits, we tend to freeze in either terror or awe. It is important to remember that they are only living their lives, and they do not want to harm us. There is no need to panic when a rabbit burrows in your yard or you see a possum or raccoon at night. All we have to do is think rationally and contact a wildlife rehabilitator or shelter about any concerns.
